Low-Calorie Mocktail Recipes!

Virgin mojito – We love this one:

Chop a lime into quarters and put all 4 quarters into the bottom of a tall glass with 1 tsp brown demerara sugar and muddle well.
Add in 5 mint leaves and gently bash before topping up with ice (crushed or cubes) and soda water, stirring really well. Top with a mint sprig and serve. You could add strawberries, raspberries, blueberries etc to this.

Virgin bloody Mary 

...Exactly the same as the normal one but just omit the vodka!

Bitter Tonic

Chop half a lime into 2 quarters and muddle in the bottom of a glass. Add ice and tonic water and a dash of angostura bitters. Stir well and serve.

Elderflower and Ginger Cocktail

25mls elderflower cordial
25mls lemon juice
Thumb size chunk of fresh ginger (peeled with back of a teaspoon) 
150mls sparkling water
mint sprig
slice of lemon
crushed ice
Grate the ginger into a large jug and follow with the cordial, lemon juice and sparkling water.
Mix well and strain into a tumbler full of crushed ice.
Top with lemon slice and a mint sprig and enjoy!
